Getting started
SeeItLive lets you see exactly what your customer sees — live, from their phone camera, with nothing to install on their end. This guide takes you from sign-up to your first live session in five steps.
1Create your account
Head to the sign-up page and register with your work email. You get 25 live sessions a month free, forever — no credit card required.
- Enter your name, work email, and a password.
- Confirm your email address from the message we send you.
- Sign in to the agent console.
Use a work email — it becomes your account's primary contact and where session and billing notifications are sent.
2Set up a team
A team groups your sessions, teammates, and settings. Each team is an independent organization with its own settings and billing.
- Open Teams in the console and click New team.
- Give it a name your team will recognise (e.g. "My company").
- Invite teammates by email if you want them to run sessions too.
3Create an API key
API keys let you start sessions from your own app or backend. You can skip this step if you only ever start sessions by hand from the console.
- Open API keys inside your team.
- Click Create key, name it, and copy the secret.
- Store it somewhere safe — the full secret is shown only once.
Treat API keys like passwords. Never commit them to source control or expose them in browser code. See API key security for more.
4Send your first invite
An invite is the link your customer opens to start sharing their camera. You can send it by SMS, by email, or copy the link yourself.
- From the console, click New session.
- Choose how to reach the customer: SMS, email, or a copyable link.
- The customer taps the link and grants camera access — no app, no account.
5Run a live session
Once the customer shares their camera, their live view appears in your browser. From here you can guide them and capture what you need.
- Watch the live stream and talk the customer through what to show.
- Take a snapshot to save a still frame to the session.
- Use on-screen annotation to point at exactly what matters.
- End the session when you're done — the customer's camera stops immediately.
